To become a member of the WYIOC, please feel free to come along to any of our meetings or events and ask one of our members who will be happy to point out someone who can help with membership questions.
We like to think that we are a pretty relaxed club, so nobody will hound you to hand over your money as subs aren’t mandatory, but they do help us to run the club and for £25 per car per year. On paying your subs you will receive a membership card, a window sticker and you can expect the following benefits:
Discounts
As a club we can offer discounts on various goods and services thanks to our generous sponsors, visit our sponsor page for more information.
Club facilities
We have an award winning club stand and the facilities available for use during our major events include a BBQ and cooking area, a marquee with seating for our members comfort.
At the major events to be attended all food, drink and extras are free to members and their families. This saves £'s on show prices for burgers etc.
Events
Members are entitled to advanced notice and priority on:
- Event & Show stands
- Track days
- Trips & Tours
- Rolling Road places
- And much more
In all events where a list is required and possibly has an upper limit, an advanced period will be set aside for paid up members to put their name down first. In the event of any over-subscription members are given priority.
Where does my money go?
Our funds are properly managed and records are kept of all club and charity transactions. These will be available for viewing at all End of Month (EOM) and special meets.
Funds are used primarily for the expansion of the club, and the maintenance of club property. Charity events are often held, the proceeds of which are sent to a charity of the clubs choice.
